Living and working in a diverse community enriches our experiences, makes us better professionals and is good for business.

The most obvious contexts of diversity include race, ethnicity, religion, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, country of origin, culture and diversity of thought. However, in a rapidly changing society, diversity continues to evolve and can include class, socioeconomic status, life experiences, learning and working styles, personality types and intellectual traditions and perspectives, in addition to cultural, political, religious and other beliefs.

Brand-New: Online Platform To Amplify Diverse Sources

A groundbreaking resource, called Sources of Color, is being introduced as a direct response to a lack of representation of people of color in news stories.
Sources of ColorIt was developed by KQ Communications, a full-service public relations firm, to offer journalists access to more diverse sources. Using Sources of Color, PR pros can pitch and land placements for clients of color.
In keeping with PRSA’s Voices4Everyone platform, we are excited to announce our support for this important new initiative, as part of a continuing commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
